ENERGETIKA MARKETING d.o.o. was founded in 1990 and employs presently a staff of 14 in its offices in Zagreb and Ljubljana. The company’s headquarters are in Zagreb.
In 1993 we started publishing a technical journal entitled EGE, which is actually our major ‘product’. The journal covers diverse issues from the areas of energy, economy, ecology and ethics (the name is an acronym of the related Croatian words) and is acknowledged and well-known to professional circles both in Croatia and in the neighbouring countries.
Furthermore, in 2001 we started publishing a specialized journal entitled Moja kupaonica (My Bathroom) intended for general public that covers the area of bathroom furnishing, sanitary equipment and installations, practical hints and ideas for furnishing your home and many other issues related to a cosy living.
In 1997 we spread to the market of Slovenia and started publishing a technical journal entitled EGES, which was followed by the specialized journal Moja kopalnica (My Bathroom) in 2004.
So far we have published more than twenty technical books covering the areas of energy, heating, air-conditioning and ventilation, gas engineering, renewable energy sources, installations, etc. Some of them have already gone through two printings and some have been translated into Slovene.
Another important area of our activities is organization of technical conferences, which currently include the International Scientific Symposium on Power and Process Plants along with the International Forum on Renewable Energy Sources (held biennially, seven times so far), the Forum on Gas (held annually, seven times so far), the Croatian Seminar on Pressure Equipment (held annually, five times so far) and Interklima - the International Symposium on Heating, Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (held biennially, organized by us seven times so far). A new specialized events named Klima-Forum and Gas Energy Conference was taken for the first time in 2007, and planned to take place every second year.
In May 2005 we launched a unique Web portal energetika-net.hr providing daily updates and reliable information on issues in the field of energy, gas engineering, heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, installations, renewable energy sources, ecology and related areas.
Over the past years we were actively involved in organization and provision of support (media sponsorship and similar) to organization of numerous events including specialized presentations, seminars, workshops, etc. for various customers (companies, government bodies, institutions, professional associations). Besides, we prepared (which implies translating from English, German and Slovene and into Slovene, graphical and technical editing) numerous booklets, leaflets, catalogues, brochures, manuals, expert and technical documentation, etc.
It should be noted that during the development of those projects we established a comprehensive database containing over 15,000 experts from Croatia and numerous foreign countries involved in all areas covered by our business activities. We exchange data and information with more than 20 editorial boards of technical and related journals worldwide and have signed a business co-operation contract with Strobel Verlag - the prominent German publisher of technical journals.
And finally attention should be drawn to our major value – our staff that daily cover and process innumerable news and changes in the world that surrounds us and, thanks to their expertise, knowledge and experience, turn them into useful and reliable information whose absence would render the survival in the contemporary globalized economy impossible.
With the view to popularize the profession we present all young experts graduating from faculties of mechanical engineering throughout Croatia with a one-year subscription and the best of them receive a copy of a technical publication (a book or a handbook) published by our company. In 2003 we received a special award in recognition of such donations – a plaque and a commendation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb
